The Music Department of Camosun College in partnership with the Victoria Conservatory of Music is pleased to announce the launch of its new concert series: Gibson Musicales.

Gibson Musicales will present three concerts of classical and jazz music at Gibson Auditorium on Camosun’s Lansdowne Campus.

Concerts are free of charge with donations gratefully accepted, will be approximately 45 minutes long and performers will vary each time.

There will be an opportunity for the audience to meet with the performers at the close of each concert.

“The College has been so open and inviting of its music students to share their gifts with the community at large and to enrich the cultural life of Camosun,” said Mary Byrne, Chair of the Music Department (CC) and Director of the Professional School (VCM).

Time: All concerts begin at 4pm (45 minute duration)
Dates:

“Both campuses of Camosun College are fortunate to have a number of beautiful acoustic and aesthetic spaces which beg to be filled with music,” said Byrne. “We are thrilled to be collaborating in this project and are looking forward to bringing more concert opportunities to Camosun audiences in the future.”
