Great review from Music In Victoria’s Deryk Barker
Renowned artists Gary Karr [acclaimed as "the world's leading solo bassist" (Time Magazine)] and his long-time musical partner Harmon Lewis, piano and organ, will be performing in a rare public concert to benefit the Victoria Conservatory of Music. The world-renowned duo will also be joined by four outstanding students (Christina Chwyl, harp; Nelson Moneo, violin; Ethan Allers, cello; Razvan Bezna, guitar) from the VCM’s Collegium Program for Gifted Young Musicians.
The Karr-Lewis Duo has built a schedule of appearances that has included festivals all over North America, Great Britain, continental Europe, Russia, Israel, Australia and Asia; this is a concert not to be missed!
