B.Mus (Western) ARCT (Piano)


June studied with Dr. Damiana Bratuz and Gwen Beamish-McMillan at UWO. June took the Professional Development Program at Simon Fraser University and Music Therapy courses at Capilano College. June studied jazz piano at The Banff Centre and in Victoria with George Essihos. She was an accompanist for Showboat in Toronto, Phantom of the Opera in Vancouver, and Banjo & Burlesque in Barkerville. June was the music director and accompanist for Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris in Victoria (Theatre Inconnu 2006).

She performed at the PEERS Benefit concert at Alix Goolden Hall. She was music arranger, singer, and pianist with the Torch Sisters Jazz Duo. June is in demand as a pianist for weddings, ‘Eldermusic’ concerts, special events and as an accompanist for musical theatre and ballet companies. An inspiring, compassionate teacher, June specializes in improvisation and her “Freedom technique”. Her motto: Learn the tunes you love!
