Groups of 4 to 8 players work on small group jazz repetoire under the guidance of our faculty instructors with special emphasis on improvisation. Instructors often bring in their own arrangements and perform with their combo. There is usually only one person per instrument and one vocalist in each combo.

Jazz Combos rehearse on weekday afternoons either from 1:30-3:00pm or 3:00-4:30pm. Given adequate interest and instrumentation, additional combos may be developed.
