Chocolate Concert
A delicious concert from the Music Therapy Department
A very special concert with a chocolate theme was performed for the employees of Rogers Chocolates by members of the VCM Music Therapy faculty, along with program participants. Rogers Chocolates partnered with the Music Therapy Department to raise funds for the department by selling brownies.
C-Fax Santa’s Anonymous
C-Fax Santa’s Anonymous and the Victoria Foundation’s Anonymous Donor Fund each donated $5000 to support the Music Therapy Summer Program for children with physical challenges and/or critical illnesses.
C-Fax Santa’s Anonymous Board members present a cheque to Dr. Johanne Brodeur, VCM Music Therapy Department Head.

Thank you to The Rotary Club of Victoria who donated $2,000 to the Music Therapy Department for instruments and equipment.
Ronald McDonald House Charities
The Music Therapy Department had the opportunity to join in the celebration of the 2007 Ronald McDonald House Charities grant recipients. The event took place at the Alix Goolden Performance Hall at the Conservatory. The Music Therapy Department itself was a recipient in 2006 and was delighted to be able to congratulate the 2007 recipients. A stunning performance by Allan Slade and G on the Soundbeam opened the celebration event. Thank you to Jodee Hansen (RMHC) for being a constant supporter of the Music Therapy program.
