Adult Group Flute

Program Outline

In this class, students will explore expression and communication through the development of good tone.  Students will expand on their music reading and rhythm skills through engaging repertoire for duos, trios or quartets.  For students who have some prior knowledge of the flute and know how to read music. Marsha Elliott

Canadian flutist Marsha Elliott is an acclaimed soloist, chamber musician and educator. Marsha holds a B.Mus. in Performance from the University of Toronto and a M.Mus. in Performance from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, where she studied with soloists Susan Hoeppner and Carol Wincenc respectively. Marsha also spent a transformative year in the Professional Winter Residency Program at the Banff Centre for the Arts.
