Paul Beauchesne - faculty

Paul Beauchesne (Principal Tuba, Victoria Symphony) has been with the Victoria Symphony since 2004. He joined the faculty of the Victoria Conservatory of Music in 2005 and became Department Head in 2011. Prior to moving to Victoria he performed across Canada and the United States with the Calgary based Foothill Brass Quintet. His first orchestral position was with the KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra in Durban, South Africa. In addition he has performed with various ensembles including the Boston Symphony, Tanglewood Music Center, and the Vancouver Symphony. Paul has played on numerous recordings and is active as a clinician and adjudicator.
