DESCRIPTION:The Winter Serenata is an end-of-term free recital by Victoria Conservatory of Music voice students\, allowing them the chance to perform repertoire that they have been working on during the term in an informal concert setting. \nThis year the first half (1:00pm to 2:30pm) will be comprised of students singing contemporary popular repertoire while the second section (3:30pm to 5:00pm) will present students singing excerpts from the classical song repertoire. \nIt promises to be a great afternoon of music & song! A wonderfully moving musical experience for singers and non-singers alike! \n\nThe Civic Orchestra of Victoria has some vocal scores to lend to the Chorus during performance (donations greatly appreciated.)
