DESCRIPTION:Entrance to this event in Wood Hall is at the Victoria Conservatory of Music at 900 Johnson Street. Free admission. \n\nCome join us as the Postsecondary students share their musical works-in progress! \n\nRanging from Bach to Zepplin and beyond\, these free concerts bring together fellow students and the public\, to share in the joy of music. \n\n\nVenue Accessibility\nThe 900 Johnson Street entrance is at ground-level and wheelchair accessible. There is an elevator located on the first floor: as you enter the building go down the ramp to your right and the elevator is on the left at the bottom. Priority seating can be provided at concerts if you have accessibility issues; please contact the Venues Department . Wheelchair accessible restrooms are located on the main floor\, beside the lobby in the Reception and Registration area.

SUMMARY:Ozan Ardic: Debut Concert Tour
DESCRIPTION:Entrance for this show is on 900 Johnson Street\n\n\n\nBorn in Baku\, Ozan Ardic is a concert composer with a background in fortepiano performance. Embracing a puristic philosophy\, Ozan organizes his compositions into individual opus numbers\, each offering a glimpse into his life. These works provide a purely audible experience\, devoid of additional subtext\, labels\, or extramusical context. By omitting names\, titles\, or accompanying artwork for his compositions\, Ozan aims to let each listener engage with the music on a deeply personal level\, free from external influence. This approach invites listeners to discover their own meanings and emotional connections within each piece. Their attention and appreciation help each opus find its true place within the larger narrative of Ozan’s artistic journey. Since 2012\, Canada has become Ozan’s second home\, where he was warmly welcomed. Proud to stand among his fellow Canadians\, he has dedicated his debut tour to the country that embraced him.  \n\nThe concert program opens with Ludwig van Beethoven’s Pathétique and Moonlight Sonatas\, works by one of the most influential composers for Ozan growing up and a fitting musical complement to this program. \n\nWatch Ozan perform Opus 4 (Intermezzo) on Youtube.
