All levels are welcome, with 30-min private lessons recommended for beginners.
This ensemble will provide opportunities for technical and musical growth on the cello. Sessions will begin with regular scale and etude warm-ups, as well as with technique builders from the Strictly Strings cello workbook. Cello ensemble repertoire will be by a variety of composers and arrangers including Bach, Fletcher, Handel, Holland, Legg, Martin, Mooney, Suzuki and Ticciati.
The program will finish with a performance in Ms. Whyte’s June 18th Studio Recital. Other performance opportunities may also be available in the Victoria Conservatory of Music Noon Recitals and in local retirement homes.
Students will be provided with the Strictly Strings workbook.
