Carol MacIsaac is a Vancouver Island born and raised violinist and violist.
She received her Bachelor of Music, majoring in Performance, at the University of Victoria in 1984. Her teachers included Sydney Humphreys, Jaroslav Karlovsky and Gerald Stanick.
Carol is a passionate, creative teacher, committed to the Suzuki method. Her Suzuki training was completed at Calgary and Edmonton Suzuki Institutes.
As well as string teaching, Carol has taught the music program at a Montessori school, and Kodály classes at VCM. Her former students have gone on to top universities to become professional players. Carol brings thirty years of experience to her teaching.
