Nicole, also known as Nikki, started studying guitar at the age of 5 taking lesson at the Victoria Conservatory of Music at the age of 7. After completing the VCM/Camosun Diploma in Music, she completed a Bachelor Music Performance at the University of Victoria with Dr. Alexander Dunn. In 2014, Nicole completed a Master of Music Performance at the University of Ottawa studying with Patrick Roux.
Nicole has over 15 years of teaching experience and enjoys working with dedicated students of all ages and abilities. In addition to her classical guitar training, Nicole has spent five years teaching Early Childhood Music, specializing in music training and exploration for children ages 6 months to preschool. She teaches at the Conservatory’s downtown location and at her home studio, Rosette Music Studio, in Quadra Village.
