Offered exclusively at our Westhills location, kids ages 6-10 can explore their creative potential in both the visual arts and music!
Weekly classes:
Visual art activities (10am-11am) include learning to express musical thoughts through color and texture and/or developing and decorating a unique musical instrument. Musical activities (11am-12pm) include exploring the many types of sounds we can make and using them to create music, all while learning the fundamentals of music.
Register for the 6-7 week session of your choice, or take advantage of the drop-in option (as per available space to a maximum of 12 attendees). Children have a fun and educational music and art learning experience while parents enjoy a coffee, a nice long walk or run some errands!
March Break Safari:
Come and join us for an exploration of art, music and storytelling in a 5-day Safari of fun! Pack a lunch and head out to investigate the language of music, the rhythms of the world, the drama of folktales, and the magic of paint and clay. Lunchtime includes a trip to the playground to play with your Safari friends.
Instructors:
Dylan Marks (Music component) and Shoni Robertson (Visual Art component).
New students: Use the Langford Heritage Branch Library entrance and take the elevator to the second floor. Please note there is additional parkade parking on the north end of the building with access to the Conservatory via the elevator.
