Congratulations to all students who participated in the German Lieder Competition on Wednesday, November 30! Our adjudicators, Anna Grimm and Benjamin Butterfield, enjoyed hearing your performances and are pleased with the work that students are doing here at the Conservatory.

What is the German Lieder Competition?
The Classical Voice Department provides this opportunity for students of all ages and abilities to perform two contrasting German Art Songs. The audience can expect to hear songs by Schubert, Robert and Clara Schumann, Strauss, Wolf, and many more.
Student participants perform in Alix Goolden Performance Hall and receive feedback from adjudicators. We are pleased to have Anne Grimm and Benjamin Butterfield as our adjudicators and Alex Chen as our Collaborative Pianist.
Middle school students across Victoria are benefitting from our Creative Music Technology Program for Youth thanks to funding from the TELUS Friendly Future Foundation.
