About the concert

Join us as Daniel Lapp brings together a delightful mix of performers for two amazing performances on the Alix Goolden Performance Hall stage. Performers include the young fiddlers of the BC Fiddle Orchestra and Old-time Danceband, joined by alumni as they celebrate their 30th year! Daniel Lapp’s Folkestra! and Joy of Life Choir bring the excitement of spring to the stage with many favourite Canadian tunes. This year’s special guest performers will be backed by the mighty Joy of Life House Band of renowned local musicians, and each concert will also showcase this year’s winners of the Henwood Family Prize for Emerging Artists. Joy of Life has a 20+ year history of inspiring all ages through the power of music, to care for each other and for our planet.
