Italian and World Languages Song Competition 2022 Results

Published April 4, 2022 The 15^th Annual Italian and World Languages competition was held the evening of Wednesday, March 30 in the Alix Goolden Performance Hall, and our adjudicators Robert Holliston and Kyron Basu extend their best wishes to all candidates, and special congratulations to the following who have been awarded with prizes or Honourable Mentions:

Junior Division:

First Prize ($50) awarded to Taiki Moquin from the studio of Gina Johnson Second Prize ($35) awarded to Eleonora Yeranyan from the studio of Gina Johnson Honourable Mentions were awarded to Rachel George from the studio of Georgina Craig, and to Kaiya Moquin from the studio of Gina Johnson.

Senior A Division:

First Prize ($100) awarded to Alex Chen from the studio of Nancy Argenta Second Prize ($75) awarded to Yanina Kosivanova from the studio of Kiiri Michelsen Honourable Mention awarded to Alexis Meservia from the studio of Maureen Branch

Congratulations to all who participated in the competition March 30 (Divisions represented were Junior, Senior A, and Senior B; 1st and 2nd prizes as well as Honourable Mentions were awarded in the Junior and Senior A Divisions).  A special congratulations to Alex Chen, for achieving 1st Prize in Senior A Division for this competition, and with that, completes his complete ‘sweep’ of the Competitions this year, having won 1st Prize for Senior A Division in the English, German, French, and now also the Italian and World Languages Competitions!
