We are Canada's Leading Centre for Music Therapy and Wellness
What is Music Wellness?
Music wellness refers to the transformative power of music to enhance mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Research from around the world has shown that actively engaging with music can reduce stress, improve mood, boost cognitive function, and even promote physical healing. Whether playing an instrument or singing, or exploring the use of music technology, actively listening and responding through music and movement has the ability to foster relaxation, emotional expression, and connection. Music wellness activities provide individuals with accessible ways to incorporate the benefits of music into their lives, improving quality of life, enhancing social connections, and supporting overall well-being. It’s a holistic approach to wellness that celebrates the therapeutic and joyful effects of music.
