Practice Rooms
Practice rooms are available to current students registered for ongoing sessions (lessons or classes). This is defined as:
- “ongoing” is defined as, at least 5 sessions, no fewer than one session per month
- if first session date has not happened, you are not yet a current student
- if last session date has passed, you are no longer a current student
Policies
- One person per room.
- Practice rooms are for active practicing only; no food/drink, sleeping, reading, electronic device usage, or other activities unrelated to practicing. Violation will result in being asked to leave and suspension of future practice room usage.
- The Conservatory has a limited number of practice rooms for student use. Remember that practice rooms are not just for students – they are also used for teaching.
- Treat the pianos in the practice rooms with respect. Do not put food on top of them or have drinks near them.
- If a temporary key card is assigned, it must be returned same day or you may be charged the $15.00 fee.
- The Victoria Conservatory of Music does not offer (or rent out) practice rooms to non-Conservatory students.
