Concerto Köln (GERMANY) Shunske Sato violin One of the great Baroque orchestras of Europe presents the first ever Victoria performance on period instruments of all the movements of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. This is a rare chance to hear a world class orchestra perform one of the pinnacles of the Baroque repertoire. Added gems are rarely heard works by Locatelli and Valentini. The Bach-Abel concerts were England’s first subscription concerts, organized between 1765 and 1782 by J.C. Bach and C.F. Abel. Featuring almost exclusively instrumental music, a great number of symphonies, overtures, concertos, airs from the opera as well as chamber music by Bach, Abel, Haydn and their contemporaries.

In the mid-18th century a musical style evolved (Empfindsamer Stil) that was a reaction to the formality of baroque styles and gave composers (and poets) freer reign to express "true and natural" feelings. Featuring sudden contrasts of mood and character, it opened the door to later romanticism. Featuring the Victoria Children's Choir.

Hear his music juxtaposed with that of his French admirers: François Couperin, Jean-Marie LeClair, and the woman composer Marie-Emmanuelle Bayon. Bikini Kill believed that if all girls started bands the world would change. Bikini Kill is a feminist punk band that was based in Olympia, WA and Washington, DC, forming in 1990 and breaking up in 1997Kathleen Hanna sang, Tobi Vail played drums, Billy Karren (a.k.a. Billy Boredom) played guitar and Kathi Wilcox played bass. Sometimes they switched instruments.
