Join classical saxophonist Sylvan Wilkinson and collaborative pianist Jany Lu for an exciting afternoon of music showcasing works by Dahl, Decruck, Desenclos, and Love. This recital is the culmination of Sylvan’s year of dedicated study through the Advanced Independent Music Studies (AIMS) program at the Victoria Conservatory of Music.
AIMS is a one-year accredited certificate program offering advanced music students part-time, intensive, and project-based practical training in one of four focus areas: Performance, Teaching, Technology and Creativity, and Business.
Sylvan is thrilled to share what they’ve been working on throughout the year—don’t miss this dynamic and expressive program of music for classical saxophone!
Venue Accessibility
The 900 Johnson Street entrance is at ground-level and wheelchair accessible. There is an elevator located on the first floor: as you enter the building go down the ramp to your right and the elevator is on the left at the bottom. Priority seating can be provided at concerts if you have accessibility issues; please contact the Venues Department . Wheelchair accessible restrooms are located on the main floor, beside the lobby in the Reception and Registration area.
