The Metro Big Band is excited to announce their debut performance. After a semester of hard work under the direction of Juno-nominated Saxophonist Ryan Oliver, the band has prepared a program of exciting music featuring arrangements by jazz legends Oliver Nelson, Charles Mingus and more. This concert will feature special guest, the great Daniel Lapp on trumpet.

We are currently seeking trumpet and trombone players for next term’s class!
Saxophonists and all rhythm section instrumentalists are welcome to apply as well.

Rehearsing weekly in a supportive and inspiring environment, participants will enhance their musicianship and instrumental abilities while playing a diverse repertoire of music.
