Come and experience the joy of playing in a large string ensemble! Whether you’re a student, amateur musician, or returning player, this is your chance to join Conservatory faculty, students, and fellow string players for a fun and inspiring session of sight-reading string orchestra repertoire. Music will be provided — no preparation necessary, just bring your instrument and your enthusiasm! After the reading session, learn more about the Conservatory’s string orchestra offerings and find the ensemble that’s the perfect fit for you. Fall term registration will be open, and staff will be on hand to answer questions and help you get started. This event is free and open to anyone who plays violin, viola, cello, or double bass. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect, play, and be inspired!
NOTE: The entrance to this event in Alix Goolden Performance Hall is at 900 Johnson Street.
