La SFV a le grand honneur de présenter Yves Lambert, une véritable légende de la musique traditionnelle québécoise (Chanteur et cofondateur de La Bottine Souriante)

Pour souligner ses 50 ans de carrière, Yves Lambert s’offre un Grand Orchestre de 7 musiciennes et musiciens, avec son équipe de base, Paul Audy (guitare, voix) Robin Boulianne (violon, mandoline, podorythmie, voix) Mathieu Royer (contrebasse) auquel s’ajoutent Geneviève St-Pierre (clavier) et une section de vent rempli de chaleur avec Mélanie Bourrassa (clarinette basse et clarinette), Mary Chalk (basson) et Gabriel Schwartz (saxophone, flûte traversière, piccolo et percussion).

Avec le Grand Orchestre Yves part en grand ! Un spectacle généreux et festif avec une orchestration qui explore de nouvelles avenues harmoniques et rythmiques. Monsieur Lambert propose avec le Grand Orchestre, un spectacle empreint de textures sonores affirmant toujours sa « québécitude » passionnée, ouverte et créative.

Je suis un amoureux de l’harmonie, de la musicalité, peu importe le style de musique, et présentement, j’ai des musiciens qui sont vraiment des virtuoses. Malgré que j’ai un tempérament de rocker, même en faisant du folklore, on sent de la sensibilité. C’est fluide, c’est beau, c’est audacieux, ça a toutes les qualités – Yves Lambert

The SFV has the great honor to present Yves Lambert, a true legend of traditional Quebec music (Singer and co-founder of La Bottine Souriante)

To mark his 50-year career, Yves Lambert offers himself a Grand Orchestra of 7 musicians, with his core team, Paul Audy (guitar, vocals), Robin Boulianne (violin, mandolin, podorythmy, vocals), Mathieu Royer (double bass), Geneviève St-Pierre (keyboard) and a warmth-filled wind section with Mélanie Bourrassa (bass clarinet and clarinet), Mary Chalk (bassoon) and Gabriel Schwartz (saxophone, flute, piccolo and percussion).

With the Grand Orchestre Yves goes big! A generous and festive show with an orchestration that explores new harmonic and rhythmic avenues. Mr. Lambert offers with the Grand Orchestre, a show imbued with sound textures that always affirms his passionate, open and creative “Quebecitude”.

The 900 Johnson Street entrance is at ground-level and wheelchair accessible. There is an elevator located on the first floor: as you enter the building go down the ramp to your right and the elevator is on the left at the bottom. Priority seating can be provided at concerts if you have accessibility issues; please contact the Venues Department . Wheelchair accessible restrooms are located on the main floor, beside the lobby in the Reception and Registration area.
